Advertise on the Big Screen
Put your business on the big screen in 40+ Queensland cinemas. Your ad plays before every film, every session, to an audience that is seated, attentive, and cannot skip it.
Why the big screen beats the small one
Every other screen your customer looks at competes for - and divides - their attention.
- Phones get scrolled.
- Online video gets skipped after a few seconds.
- Television gets muted, or the channel changed during the ads.
- Even the other big screen - billboards - is additional noise amongst the 6,000 to 10,000 advertising messages thrown at consumers every day.
The big screen at the cinema is the one place where your ad is unavoidable and, importantly, consumable. No wastage. The room is dark, the sound is up, and the audience is quiet and paying attention.
An ad stickier than Spiderman's web.
That difference is measurable. Independent attention research has put cinema attentiveness at around 85%, against roughly 1.4% for skippable digital pre-roll. Kantar Media ranked cinema #1 for attention capturing across all media in 2023, after a global survey of 16,000 consumers and 900 marketers.

Big screen advertising helps your small screen advertising work better
The message isn't to stop small screen advertising altogether. But if you are already locally famous when your potential customer arrives online and sees your social media ad amongst your competitors, you are at a massive advantage.
Get locally famous on the big screen
The idea is simple: be the business everyone in your area recognises, and you will get more business when the potential customer has the problem you solve. Here is what that looks like, and how it works.
How to get on screen
- 1
Let's jump on the phone
Tell us where your customers are and who you are targeting, and we will work out a plan to make you the most locally famous organisation in your area, then reserve your space. If we don't think cinema is right for your business, or we have to put you on the waiting list, we will let you know that too.

We get your mini movie sorted
Already have a video? Great - we convert it to cinema format in about seven days. No video and no videographer? We can get one produced from $500 plus GST. Your mini movie will be playing in no time.
- 3
You are on the big screen
Your ad plays in the pre-show before every movie session at the cinemas you booked, for as long as your campaign runs. We will take you for an exclusive preview, of course. Some ads haven't come off screen since 2006!
What it costs
Indicative packages start from $250 per week for a 15-second ad (some small independent cinemas are lower), and from $400 per week for a 30-second. Price moves with your location, your ad length and how many weeks you run. Most advertisers are on screen year round.
